Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Duty Medical Officer based in Kovilpatti & Kalugumalai, Tamil Nadu, India. The Duty Medical Officer will provide immediate medical care, attend to emergencies, and ensure comprehensive patient management. Responsibilities include diagnosing medical conditions, administering treatments, collaborating with physicians, and performing minor surgical procedures if necessary. The role also involves guiding and training supporting healthcare staff as part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Medicine and Patient Care, with proven ability to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions
- Skills in Surgery and performing minor procedures with precision
- Experience in Working with Physicians and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
- Competency in Training and mentoring healthcare staff
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
- Relevant certifications and registration with the Medical Council of India
- Previous experience in an emergency care setting is desirable
