Job Description

The Avatar Hotel & Convention is seeking a dedicated and motivated Duty Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality guest accommodations and services at our prestigious hotel.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, and supervise personnel across various departments, including front desk operations, reservations, guest relations, and housekeeping.
  • Develop effective promotional and marketing plans to enhance business and foster a positive reputation within the community.
  • Prepare budgets and revenue projections for review and feedback by upper management.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Guest Experience Manager and General Manager to ensure the smooth functioning of all operations.
  • Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure a constant, visible presence in public areas during opening hours to uphold a welcoming environment.
  • Oversee the general upkeep of all areas around the organization and ensure the safety of staff.
  • Address any issues arising from staff misbehavior in collaboration with the director and administration.
  • Collaborate effectively with various departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
