Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Duty Manager at Silent Shores Resort & Spa, located in Mysore. The Duty Manager will oversee daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the resort, coordinate with various departments, and address guest queries and concerns to ensure satisfaction. Responsibilities include staff supervision, conflict resolution, monitoring service quality, and maintaining compliance with operational standards. The role requires proactive problem-solving, effective communication, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality management, including handling guest relations and supervising teams
- Effective communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of operational standards and practices in the hospitality industry
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead cross-departmental teams
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are an asset
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and familiarity with property management systems is preferred
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is advantageous
