Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Duty Manager based in Chennai. The Duty Manager will oversee day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction and smooth execution of service standards. Responsibilities include supervising staff, handling guest inquiries, resolving operational issues, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The role involves coordination between departments, supporting managerial decisions, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all guests and employees.
Qualifications
- Leadership and team management skills to supervise and motivate staff
- Customer service and problem-solving abilities to address guest concerns effectively
- Communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with guests, staff, and other stakeholders
- Organizational and multitasking capabilities to manage multiple priorities and ensure operational efficiency
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including compliance and quality standards
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in using hotel management systems and basic office software
- Hospitality-related certifications or qualifications are an advantage
