Visual Design Engineer

Working closely with our Center of Excellence (CoE) team, you will bring together your expertise in design principles and engineering skills to create impactful visualizations in tools like PowerBI. Requirements Key Responsibilities: 1. Visual Design Implementation: · Collaborate with design leads to implement visually appealing and interactive data visualizations using tools like PowerBI. · Translate design concepts into functional and responsive user interfaces, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. 2. Technical Proficiency: · Demonstrate proficiency in front-end development technologies, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, to implement visual designs effectively. · Work closely with data engineers and backend developers to integrate visualizations into overall data solutions. 3. Quality Assurance: · Conduct thorough testing of visualizations to ensure compatibility, responsiveness, and optimal performance across various devices and platforms. · Collaborate with QA teams to address and resolve any visual design-related issues. 4. Continuous Learning: · Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in data visualization, design, and front-end development. · Proactively explore and implement new tools and techniques to enhance the visual design and interactivity of our solutions. 5. Collaboration: · Work closely with stakeholders, including clients and internal teams, to understand their visualization needs and provide effective design solutions. · Collaborate with data engineers, PowerBI developers, and other team members to achieve cohesive and impactful visualizations. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, or a related field. Proven experience in front-end development with a focus on visual design. Strong portfolio showcasing implemented visual designs and interactive data visualizations. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with relevant frameworks/libraries. Familiarity with data visualization tools like PowerBI. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
