Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Duck Creek Billing Developer located On-site / Hybrid / Remote . The role involves analyzing, designing, and developing Duck Creek billing solutions to meet business requirements. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and maintain accurate documentation of development work. Additionally, the role includes optimizing solution performance and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience with Duck Creek Billing including configuration and implementation
- Experience working on Author, Rules, Business Rules, Payment Gateway Implementation, Commission, Payment Plan & Schedule, Invoice Generation, Account & Policy level Follow-Up
- Manage end-to-end Billing lifecycle, including customization and OOS transaction processing
- Work on Installment Schedule, Payment Allocation, Payment Override, General Ledger, and Direct Billing
- Configure and manage Outbound and Inbound integrations within Duck Creek Billing system
- Sound understanding of Debit and Credit Allocation, ensuring accurate financial distribution, reconciliation, and adjustment across policies and billing accounts
- Experience in XSLT transformations for data mapping, formatting, and integration within Duck Creek Billing processes
- Experience as a Manuscript Developer on personal and commercial lines
- Perform estimation and effort analysis
- Understand and analyze business requirements
- Maintain coding standards, best practices, and development guidelines
- Use debugging tools such as TRACE Monitor and TSV Debugger
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Duck Creek Billing development
- Experience in the insurance or financial services domain (preferred)
- Proficiency in software development concepts such as Object-Oriented Programming and system design
- Knowledge of system integrations and APIs
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
