Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–20 years of experience in payments and/or cards consulting, implementation, or solution design roles.
• Hands on experience (5+ years) working with Global Pay Plus in implementation, configuration, or solution architecture.
• Strong expertise in SEPA payment schemes (credit transfer, direct debit), including message formats, processing flows, and compliance requirements.
• Solid understanding of XML based payment messages and schemas relevant to SEPA and bank payment interfaces.
• Proven ability to work with cross functional teams and stakeholders in a consulting or client facing environment.
• Lead end to end consulting engagements on DTA payments and card processing using Global Pay Plus and SEPA standards.
• Analyze client payment ecosystems, identify gaps, and define target state architectures and roadmaps for payments modernization.
• Design and configure Global Pay Plus modules for SEPA credit transfers, direct debits, and related payment schemes, ensuring compliance and performance.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications, including XML based payment messages.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate payment solutions with core banking, card systems, and external payment networks.
• Conduct impact analysis, solution design reviews, and walkthroughs with stakeholders across business, technology, and operations.
• Support testing strategy (SIT, UAT, regression) by defining test scenarios, validating XML message structures, and troubleshooting defects.
• Provide subject matter expertise on SEPA rules, cut off times, settlement cycles, and exception handling for high volume payment processing.
• Guide clients on best practices for payment operations, straight through processing, and risk and compliance controls in the payments and cards domain.
• Mentor junior consultants, share domain knowledge, and contribute to internal accelerators, templates, and knowledge repositories.
