Specific Responsibilities
-Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary
-Follow the prep list created to plan duties
-Preparing food for service(e.g. chopping vegetable, preparing sauces, preparing soups)
-Cooking menu items working with the team to ensure menu items are prepared and ready for service
-Follow the chef's instructions
-Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes
-Clean up station and properly put away leftover food
Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
-Stock inventory appropriately for the next days service
-Ensure high quality food is prepared properly and comes out on time
-Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
-Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
-Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities
-Proven cooking experience
-Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
-Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
-Genuine enthusiasm and readiness to serve
-Willingness to do whatever it takes to delivery exceptional service
-Flexible
-Reliable.
-Reliable transportation to and from work is important
-Able to stand for at least 8 hours and lift 50 lbs.
-Have valid Washington Food Handler's Card
-High attention to detail and efficient multi-tasking are necessary skills
-A supportive and positive attitude, and a willingness to help out when help is needed including additional requests for teamwork support
-Enjoy interacting with guest and service team

Insurance Benefits: Eligible for DSquared health benefits effective the first of the month following 60 days of full time employment
Medical – Your choice of two Kaiser Permanente medical insurance plans, HMO or Access PPO. Both plans include an annual vision exam
Dental – Available through Metlife
DSquared will pay 75% of your medical and dental insurance premium. You are responsible for the remaining 25% which is paid via payroll deduction. If you wish to enroll your dependents, you will be responsible for their portion of the premium
Retirement Savings: Eligible for participation in the Company’s 401(k) retirement savings plan, including employer matching contributions after working one calendar year and 1000 hours in a calendar year. With a company match up to 4%.
