About the role
The Warehouse Assistant plays a critical role in the execution of catered events by ensuring all event materials are properly prepared, organized, and transported. This position is responsible for picking, packing, loading, and unloading event supplies and maintaining pre-built event kits. Additional duties include smallwares maintenance (spot cleaning and polishing), organizing stocked products and equipment, and assisting other departments as needed. Occasionally, the Warehouse Assistant may help with event setup and breakdown to support seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:
-Event Preparation & Logistics
-Pick, pack, load, and unload event materials and equipment.
-Ensure all event supplies are properly organized and meet production standards.
-Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed.
-Equipment & Inventory Management
-Maintain pre-built event kits to ensure readiness for each event.
-Conduct routine spot cleaning and polishing of smallwares.
-Organize and maintain stocked products and equipment in the warehouse.
-General Warehouse Support
-Follow BOH event production standards and procedures.
-Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
-Assist other departments with tasks as needed.
Requirements:
-Must meet requirements for D House-Crew Member within 90 days of start date (training provided).
-Basic understanding of the catering industry and event logistics.
-Self-motivated and goal-oriented with strong attention to detail.
-Ability to follow established procedures for consistent results.
-Physical ability to lift, carry, and transport event materials as needed.
Scheduling & Compensation:
-This is a part-time, as-needed position.
