<strong>Come join our AWESOME Team!!!</strong><br><br><strong>Dryer Vent Wizard of Hampton Roads</strong> is hiring a dependable, customer-focused <strong>Dryer Vent Technician</strong> to serve clients in <strong>Virginia Beach, Newport News, and nearby areas</strong>. You’ll be responsible for professionally cleaning, repairing, and installing dryer vent systems in residential, multi-unit, and commercial properties. This position requires you to be <strong>comfortable working safely on rooftops, climbing ladders, possessing strong communication skills and sales abilities, and having </strong>the <strong>physical ability to lift and work with equipment through or within small spaces</strong>.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities:</strong>
</div><ul>
<li>Perform professional dryer vent cleaning, installation, rerouting, and repairs, with safety and quality at the forefront. </li>
<li>
<strong>Climb ladders and work on rooftops</strong> to access and service vents (residential, multi-unit, and commercial buildings).</li>
<li>Identify fire hazards, airflow issues, and code violations, and educate customers on solutions.</li>
<li>Recommend additional services where needed and <strong>close sales with confidence</strong>.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records, complete invoices, and collect payments on-site as applicable.</li>
<li>Operate the company vehicle and maintain all tools, equipment, and safety gear.</li>
<li>Assist in keeping the company’s vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, in good working order, and in working condition</li>
<li>Clearly define and describe the features and benefits of each product offering. </li>
</ul><div><strong>Requirements:</strong></div><ul>
<li><strong>Must be fearless and able to work on rooftops and able to easily handle extension ladders.</strong></li>
<li>
<strong>Ability to lift and carry up to 55 lbs.</strong>, and work in crawl spaces or tight areas.</li>
<li>
<strong>MUST </strong>have a valid <strong>Virginia</strong> driver’s license with a clean driving record.</li>
<li>Ability to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, management, and team members.</li>
<li><strong>Must have positive attitude and be team oriented. We have an awesome team that works extremely well together</strong></li>
<li>Must be knowledgeable on how to effectively use technology, including providing a detailed prescription of the task performed</li>
<li>Prior experience or mechanical aptitude in HVAC, Electrical, home services, maintenance, or similar trades is a plus.</li>
<li>
<strong>Sales-minded approach</strong> – you’re comfortable explaining services and recommending upgrades.</li>
<li>High school diploma or GED.</li>
<li><strong>Must pass background check and drug screening.</strong></li>
<li>Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.</li>
