Position: Dry End Shift In-charge
Location: Kashipur, Uttarakhand
Role: Responsible for ensuring smooth and uninterrupted dry end operations during the shift while maintaining production targets, quality standards, and safety compliance. The role involves monitoring machine performance, coordinating with maintenance and quality teams, minimizing downtime, supervising shift manpower, and ensuring proper housekeeping and process discipline. The incumbent will also be responsible for achieving optimum productivity, handling operational issues efficiently, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality finished products.
Qualifications: Engineering Graduate or Diploma in Pulp & Paper or Chemical Engineering.
Experience: 4+ years of experience with paper or paperboard machines with online coating.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Management: Oversee and optimize production processes. Monitor parameters to meet quality and quantity targets.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain product quality standards. Implement and monitor quality control procedures.
- Team Management: Lead and manage the shift team. Assign tasks and support team performance.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions. Minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.
- Communication and Coordination: Communicate with team members and other departments. Prepare and present production reports.
- Technical Knowledge: Understand the paper-making process. Stay updated with industry advancements.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed. Promote a safe working environment.
