Role Description The Drone Tech Enthusiast will work on-site in Delhi, India in a full-time capacity, supporting daily drone operations for logistics and delivery missions. Responsibilities include assisting with drone preparation and pre-flight checks, monitoring flights, and helping ensure safety and compliance with operational protocols. The role involves basic troubleshooting of technical issues, maintenance tasks under guidance, and accurate documentation of flight data and performance. The Drone Tech Enthusiast will collaborate closely with pilots, engineers, and logistics staff to optimize routes, improve reliability, and support continuous innovation in drone-based services. The individual will also participate in training, demonstrations, and fieldwork in varied terrain and weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in drone technology, autonomous systems, and aviation, with a willingness to learn technical concepts.
- Basic understanding of electronics, mechanics, or IT systems, or related hands-on experience in hardware or field operations.
- Ability to follow safety procedures, conduct checks systematically, and maintain accurate operational records.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the capacity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in on-site environments.
- Comfort working outdoors in varied terrain and weather, and readiness for field-based tasks in remote or semi-remote areas.
- Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and openness to training and upskilling in drone operation and maintenance.
- Completion of secondary education; technical diploma or coursework in engineering, aviation, or related fields is an advantage.
- Prior exposure to drones, model aircraft, robotics, or logistics operations is preferred but not mandatory.
