Role Description
The Zonal Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. The selected candidate will be responsible for business development of drone spraying and crop analysis. Responsible for business development with contract farming corporates and agrochemical companies. Team building, managing a sales team, and driving revenue growth within an assigned zone.
Day-to-day tasks include identifying new business opportunities, Oversee the execution of operations, client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Build Network with the contract farming companies, fertilizer, pesticides and contract farming Industry
- Proven experience in Drone Spraying
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Rural Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA in Sales/Marketing or Agri-Business preferred.
- 4 - 5 years of experience in Drone sparing or contract farming operations.
- Proven experience in developing and managing dealer and distributor networks within agricultural markets.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve regional or zonal sales targets and manage large territories.
- Strong capability in team leadership and supervision, including managing Area Managers and field staff.
- In-depth knowledge of fertilizers, pesticides, crop protection products, and farming practices.
