Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Drone Pilot with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in operating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The candidate will be responsible for safe drone operations, mission planning, data collection, and compliance with aviation regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate drones for commercial, industrial, and survey operations
- Plan and execute drone missions as per project requirements
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections and maintenance
- Capture high-quality aerial imagery, videos, and sensor data
- Ensure compliance with DGCA / local aviation regulations and company SOPs
- Maintain flight logs, reports, and operational documentation
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to UAV systems
- Coordinate with project teams and clients during operations
- Ensure safety of equipment, people, and airspace during missions
Required Qualifications:
- Certified Drone Pilot (DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional drone flying experience
- Strong knowledge of UAV systems, flight controllers, and sensors
- Experience with mapping, surveying, inspection, or surveillance missions
- Knowledge of airspace rules, safety procedures, and risk assessments
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in flight planning software (e.g., Mission Planner, DJI Pilot, Pix4D, DroneDeploy)
- Experience with aerial mapping, photogrammetry, and data processing
- Ability to read maps, coordinates, and GPS data
- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance of drones
Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and in field conditions
- Willingness to travel as per project requirements
