Company Description Terrafusion Technologies focuses on transforming how the physical world is observed and managed across infrastructure, resources, industry, and public safety. The company develops autonomous, intelligent unmanned systems that enable continuous discovery, monitoring, execution, and data-driven decision-making. These systems are designed to operate at scale and in environments where risk, speed, or limited access make traditional operations difficult or impossible. Terrafusion’s solutions aim to reduce fragmentation, improve accountability, and detect critical risks earlier, helping organizations move from reactive to proactive operations.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhopal for a Drone Pilot and DGPS Operator. The role involves planning and executing drone flights for mapping, inspection, and monitoring projects, including pre-flight checks, route planning, and compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines. The Drone Pilot and DGPS Operator will operate DGPS equipment to capture high-accuracy positional data, coordinate ground control points, and ensure data quality in the field. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with project teams to understand survey requirements, documenting flight operations, maintaining equipment, and assisting in data transfer and basic verification after missions. The role may also involve working in varied outdoor environments and adapting to changing project conditions and timelines.

- Hands-on proficiency with DGPS or other high-precision positioning systems for surveying, mapping, and ground control point collection.
- Understanding of basic geospatial concepts, terrain mapping, and familiarity with data formats used in GIS, surveying, or remote sensing.
- Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and care for drones, batteries, sensors, and DGPS equipment in field conditions.
- Strong observation, documentation, and record-keeping skills for flight logs, site conditions, and data quality checks.
- Comfort working on-site in outdoor environments, including remote or challenging locations, with attention to safety protocols.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and project managers.
- Relevant certification or license for drone operations as per local regulations; prior experience in surveying, civil engineering, or related fields is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies in autonomous systems, and to adapt to evolving project requirements.
