Job SummaryLooking for a Drone Pilot with 1+ year of experience in drone operations and field testing. The candidate will be responsible for conducting drone flights, supporting field trials, collecting test data, and assisting engineering teams during validation and deployment activities.
Drone Pilot License training/support will be provided by the company if required.
Key Responsibilities- Operate drones safely during field testing and demo activities.
- Perform pre-flight checks and basic troubleshooting.
- Support field trials, payload testing, and validation activities.
- Collect flight logs, test data, and observations from field operations.
- Coordinate with electronics, mechanical, and application teams during testing.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Assist in drone assembly, maintenance, and calibration.
- Travel to customer or test locations for field operations when required.
Required Skills- Good knowledge of drone operations and flight handling.
- FPV skills are preferred.
- Experience with field testing and mission execution.
- Basic understanding of drone components, batteries, payloads, and communication systems.
- Ability to identify and report operational or hardware issues.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for field activities.
Preferred Skills- Experience with mapping, surveillance, or industrial drone applications.
- Basic knowledge of electronics or embedded systems.
- DGCA certification is an added advantage.
QualificationBE / BTech in Aeronautical, ECE, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related field.
