Our projects involve UAV development, autonomous navigation, flight testing, aerospace research, and real-world drone applications.
Role Overview
We are looking for passionate and motivated interns to join our UAV team in the role of Drone Assembly & Drone Pilot Intern. This internship provides hands-on exposure to drone hardware integration, UAV operations, testing, and field deployment activities.
The selected candidates will work closely with engineers and researchers on real aerospace and autonomous systems projects while gaining practical experience in drone assembly, maintenance, and flight operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the assembly and integration of multirotor and fixed-wing drone systems.
- Support installation and testing of flight controllers, ESCs, motors, propellers, GPS modules, telemetry systems, and onboard sensors.
- Perform basic soldering, wiring, and electronic hardware integration.
- Assist in firmware updates, calibration, and pre-flight inspections.
- Support drone flight operations, mission planning, and field testing activities.
- Monitor telemetry, onboard systems, and flight performance during operations.
- Assist in aerial data collection, inspection, photography, or mapping missions.
- Troubleshoot hardware and operational issues under supervision.
- Maintain documentation related to assembly procedures, flight logs, and testing reports.
- Follow operational and safety procedures during assembly and flight activities.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Basic understanding of drone systems, electronics, or UAV operations.
- Strong interest in aerospace systems, robotics, and autonomous technologies.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in hands-on engineering and field-testing environments.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with PX4, ArduPilot, or similar flight control platforms.
- Experience operating drones or RC aircraft.
- Knowledge of soldering, electronics troubleshooting, or UAV maintenance.
- Familiarity with mission planning software and telemetry systems.
- Experience with CAD tools, 3D printing, aerial mapping, or photography is a plus.
