As we set up a Global Technology Centre in Bengaluru, we are looking for an exceptional HR Manager to join our passionate team and support the future of Dr. Martens. You will be key in setting up the Centre for success and for creating the conditions for our people to do their life's best work.
This is an exciting opportunity to partner with leaders and managers across Technology and HR teams as we establish this new critical part of the Dr. Martens operations. This role will provide expert HR leadership and support across a diverse range of responsibilities from building an organisation and embedding the DM culture, onboarding talent, change management, building organisational capability and exceptional employee experiences that foster growth, engagement and a sense of belonging. This role will directly contribute to DM's success as we stand up this new organisation.

The HR Manager will be the most senior HR person in the Global Technology Centre, expected to demonstrate strong technical and leadership skills, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
As an HR Manager, you will:
Develop and execute HR priorities that support the GTC's business and growth objectives.
Provide coaching and guidance to leaders at all levels on people-related matters.
Support them in building high-performing teams, improving employee engagement, and driving organizational change.
Ensure alignment of global HR policies and processes with local regulations and business needs.
Build a strong employer brand in the region, to enable a pipeline of talent to be drawn to Dr Martens.
Work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and implement effective hiring strategies.
Partner with external recruitment partners to attract top talent.
Oversee onboarding programs to ensure cultural integration and seamless transition for new hires.
Develop and execute employee engagement and social initiatives to foster a positive work environment and strong working relationships
Join global 'HR squad teams' to shape company-wide approaches and programmes in culture, talent and DE&I that will enhance employee engagement and retention.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the GTC.
Execute the cyclical people processes across the employee lifecycle, including talent reviews & succession planning, salary review and engagement surveys.
Partner with global HR teams to design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs, to ensure retain talent and remain an attractive employer of choice in the region
Ensure accurate payroll processing, compliance with local labour laws, and HR operational efficiency.
Oversee local HR systems and how we manage personal data, ensuring compliance with Data Protection laws through partnership with the Data Protection Team.
Act as a trusted advisor for employees and managers on HR-related matters.
Act as a member of the compliance network, ensure compliance with health & safety practices, company policies, and promoting DM's 'Speak Up' process and completion of mandatory training.
Handle employee relations issues such as grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution with fairness and transparency and aligned to relevant laws and policies.
