Role Description The Driver role at Satyamev Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Driver will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles, including trucks where required, to transport materials, equipment, and personnel between project sites and other locations. Day-to-day tasks include planning routes, performing basic vehicle inspections, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining accurate logs of trips and mileage. The role also involves interacting professionally with team members, vendors, and clients, following traffic and safety regulations, and supporting site operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong truck driving skills and be comfortable operating commercial vehicles such as trucks.
- Candidates should possess a valid CDL Class A (or equivalent heavy vehicle license) and a clean driving record.
- Candidates should possess clear communication skills to coordinate with site staff, supervisors, and vendors.
- Candidates should possess customer service skills to interact respectfully and professionally with clients and partners.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of local traffic laws, basic vehicle maintenance, and safe loading/unloading practices.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Ahmedabad, including early hours or extended shifts when required.
- Prior experience as a commercial driver in construction, logistics, or related sectors is preferred.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to follow company policies and safety procedures are essential.
