Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Driver role based in Ernakulam. The Driver will operate company trucks safely and efficiently, ensuring timely transport of goods and materials to designated locations. Daily responsibilities include conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, following assigned routes and schedules, and complying with all traffic and safety regulations. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle, completing basic documentation such as delivery logs, and collaborating with the operations team to support smooth facility and logistics activities. The Driver will interact with customers or site contacts in a professional manner, representing the company’s commitment to reliable and courteous service.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Truck Driving and safe operation of commercial vehicles.
- Valid CDL Class A or equivalent heavy vehicle license with a strong safety record.
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with clients and team members respectfully and clearly.
- Good knowledge of truck maintenance basics and ability to perform routine checks.
- Familiarity with local routes in and around Ernakulam and ability to follow maps or GPS systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings as needed.
- Physical ability to handle loading/unloading assistance when required and to sit for extended periods while driving.
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or facility management is an advantage.
