Job Summary
We are looking for a
Dremio & SQL Developer with strong experience in data analysis, query development, data virtualization, and reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in
Dremio, SQL, data modeling, and data integration, with the ability to work across enterprise data platforms and support analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for reporting, analytics, and data validation.
- Design and maintain Dremio semantic layers, virtual datasets, and data models.
- Work with business and technical teams to understand data requirements.
- Create and manage data views, joins, transformations, and data pipelines within Dremio.
- Troubleshoot data quality, performance, and query-related issues.
- Support data governance, metadata management, and data lineage initiatives.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and BI developers to deliver reporting solutions.
- Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain technical documentation and data mapping artifacts.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum delivery activities.
Required Skills - 2+ years of hands-on experience with Dremio.
- Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.

- Familiarity with:
- Oracle
- SQL Server
- PostgreSQL
- Data Lakes
- Understanding of data governance, metadata, and lineage concepts.

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools.
- Exposure to Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks.
- Knowledge of cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Experience working in Banking, Finance, or Risk domains.
Preferred Certifications
- Dremio Fundamentals Certification
- Dremio Data Engineer Certification
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203)
- Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate
- Databricks Data Engineer Associate (Good to Have)
