Job Description

• We are looking to hire a procurement officer to join our leading team.
• The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing goods and services, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement to support organizational operations.
• The role involves negotiation, contract management, and maintaining compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  
  

Job Description

• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with vendors and suppliers.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods/services.
• Vendor Management
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities and staying ahead of market trends.
  
  

Qualifications

• HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Audit, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
• A proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
