Scientist 'B'

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for filling up the following post of Scientist 'B' in DRDO-Naval Materials Research Laboratory (NMRL), Ambernath, Maharashtra. The details of the post are as follows: Post: Scientist 'B' No. of Post: 08 Pay Level: 10 (Rs. 56,100-1,77,500/-) Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech. in Mechanical/Metallurgical/Materials Science & Engineering/Chemical Engineering. Age Limit: 32 years (Relaxation as per Government of India Rules). Job Description: The incumbent will be responsible for development, characterization and evaluation of materials and components for Naval applications. The job involves conducting experiments, data analysis, technical report writing and presentation. The candidate should have knowledge and experience in material characterization techniques such as SEM, XRD, thermal analysis, mechanical testing etc. Experience in computational material science and modelling will be an added advantage.
