Graduate Apprentice (GATE) trainee

DRDO invites applications for the post of Graduate Apprentice (GATE) trainee at its various laboratories/establishments. The selected candidates will be engaged as Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for a period of one year. Interested candidates may apply for the following disciplines: Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science/IT, Metallurgy, Aeronautical, Chemical, Civil, Architecture, Design, Instrumentation. Candidates should have a valid GATE score of year 2022 or 2023. The selection of candidates will be made on the basis of GATE Score. The engagement will be subject to the availability of work and vacancy position. The selected candidates will be paid a monthly stipend as per the prescribed rates under the Apprentices Act, 1961. No other allowances or benefits will be paid. After successful completion of the apprenticeship, a certificate will be issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).
