Drayage Specialist – US Process

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Drayage Specialist with experience in the US logistics process. The candidate will be responsible for managing container movements, coordinating with US-based carriers, and ensuring smooth drayage operations from ports/rail yards to final destinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate drayage shipments across US ports and rail terminals
- Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers and drivers
- Track containers and ensure timely movement
- Communicate with US customers, brokers, carriers, and warehouses
- Handle documentation such as BOLs, delivery orders, and invoices
- Manage and minimize demurrage, detention, and accessorial charges
- Resolve shipment delays and operational issues promptly
- Update TMS/CRM systems with accurate shipment status
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in US logistics / drayage operations
- Strong understanding of US port and container movement processes
- Experience with TMS or logistics tools
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Ability to work in night shift (US time zones)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with freight brokerage or 3PL companies
- Knowledge of US geography and shipping routes
- Ability to handle high-volume shipments
