Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Draughtsman with expertise in the water and wastewater treatment industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and high-quality engineering drawings and layouts for Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems, Ultrafiltration (UF), SAF and PSF units, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience minimum 4 years
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for civil, mechanical, and piping works related to WTP, STP, RO, and UF systems.
- Draft GA (General Arrangement), Piping drawing, P&ID, isometric, fabrication, and layout drawings.
- Collaborate with process and project engineers to develop and revise drawings as per design changes.
- Ensure all drawings meet relevant codes, standards, and project-specific requirements.
- Maintain organized drawing records and ensure timely delivery of all drafting outputs.
- Conduct site visits, if required, for measurement, verification, and as-built drawing preparation.
- Review and coordinate with consultants and clients on drawing approvals.
- Use drafting software like AutoCAD or similar tools proficiently.
- Maintain drawing revision logs and support in BOQ preparation when needed.
- Education: Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
