Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Draughtsman role based in Mumbai. The Draughtsman will prepare detailed architectural and structural drawings, plans, and layouts in accordance with project specifications and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include interpreting designs from architects and engineers, updating drawings based on feedback, and ensuring accuracy and clarity in all technical documentation. The role also involves coordinating with project teams to resolve design-related queries, maintaining organized drawing records, and supporting the preparation of drawings for approvals and construction. The Draughtsman will contribute to efficient project execution by delivering precise, timely drawings and collaborating closely with other disciplines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in technical drawing software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD tools) and strong manual drafting fundamentals.
- Solid understanding of architectural and structural design principles, building materials, and construction methods.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, with attention to dimensions, details, and specifications.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, including version control and systematic filing of drawings.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with architects, engineers, site teams, and external stakeholders.
- Diploma or certification in Civil Drafting, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in real estate or redevelopment projects is an advantage.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and approval processes in Mumbai or similar urban environments is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site full-time, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
