Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Draftsman located in Delhi, India. The Draftsman will be responsible for creating accurate architectural and interior design drawings based on project requirements. Day-to-day tasks include converting design concepts into detailed technical drawings, updating and maintaining project documentation, collaborating with designers and architects, and ensuring all drawings comply with industry standards. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a collaborative and creative studio environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp for architectural and interior design drafting
- Working knowledge of 2D and 3D modeling techniques, along with the ability to read and create technical drawings
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and construction techniques relevant to interior design projects
- Attention to detail, accuracy in measurements, and adherence to industry standards
- Ability to collaborate effectively with designers and architects to translate design concepts into detailed drawings
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
- Previous experience in drafting for interior design or architectural projects is preferred
- Knowledge of sustainable materials or green building practices is an added advantage
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines
