Role Description:
We are looking for an experienced Interior Draughtsman to join our Design & Build team. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in preparing execution drawings for corporate interior projects and be capable of coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed working drawings, Good for Construction (GFC) drawings, and shop drawings for corporate interior fit-out projects.
- Develop detailed layouts, partition plans, flooring layouts, reflected ceiling plans (RCP), furniture layouts, electrical coordination drawings, and interior detailing.
- Prepare detailed joinery, furniture, ceiling, flooring, wall paneling, and millwork drawings.
- Coordinate with interior designers, MEP consultants, project managers, vendors, and site execution teams.
- Incorporate design revisions and client feedback into drawings in a timely manner.
- Ensure drawings are technically accurate, coordinated, and ready for execution.
- Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and documentation as per project standards.
- Participate in site coordination meetings whenever required to resolve drawing-related issues.
- Assist the design team in preparing BOQs
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety standards, and company quality requirements.
- Support the project team during execution by providing technical drawing clarifications.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience as an Interior Draughtsman, preferably in corporate interiors, commercial fit-outs, or Design & Build projects.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
- Understanding of construction detailing, interior materials, furniture detailing, and execution methodologies.
- Ability to interpret design concepts into accurate technical drawings.
- Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in office interiors, commercial spaces, co-working environments, and turnkey Design & Build projects.
- Familiarity with BOQ preparation and site execution coordination.
- Exposure to MEP coordination and construction documentation.
