Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Drafter role based in Pune, Maharashtra. The Drafter will be responsible for creating technical drawings, blueprints, and documentation using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The role includes interpreting engineering designs, collaborating with engineering teams, ensuring design accuracy, and adhering to project specifications and timelines. The Drafter will also be involved in updating and modifying existing drawings as needed and coordinating with production teams for seamless project execution.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design tools
- Knowledge of engineering drawing standards and drafting techniques
- Familiarity with boiler systems, power plant design, or related engineering structures is advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with engineering and production teams
- Relevant educational background such as a diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, drafting, or related field
- Previous experience in drafting, preferably in the boiler, power plant, or heavy engineering sector
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
