Job Description:Job Summary
We are looking for a UX (User Experience) Designer to conceptualize solutions at the intersection of user needs, design, and technology, owning the experience space to deliver best-in-class products in the pharmaceutical ecosystem. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create memorable digital and physical experiences, contributing to design research processes and elevating ideas into thoughtful, functional, and beautiful solutions for the pharmaceutical industry.
Roles & Responsibilities
• You will be responsible for leading UX processes end-to-end across various projects, including research, ideation, insight finding, prototyping, and delivery.
• Your role involves understanding user needs, business requirements, and innovation context through various Design Thinking methods.
• You will translate insights from user research into digital and physical solutions, utilizing tools such as Persona Creation, Flow Maps, Customer Journeys, Mental Modeling, Quick Mock-ups, etc.
• Your role includes active participation in user interactions during research, synthesis, and feedback phases.
• You will be responsible for collaboration with Design Researchers on usability evaluations such as benchmarking studies, heuristic evaluations, quantitative and qualitative metrics.
• You will co-create innovative concepts with multiple stakeholders such as Design researchers, Interaction designers, Developers, Business Leaders and other process partners in the pharmaceutical ecosystem.
Qualifications:Educational qualification: A B.A. or Master’s Degree in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, New Media design, Human Computer Interaction, Product Design or any such Design Discipline
Minimum work experience: 3 years in designing user experiences for digital and physical products
Skills & attributes:
Technical Skills
• In-depth understanding of User Experience (UX) methodology, encompassing principles, tools, processes, and frameworks relevant to designing user-friendly and effective interfaces.
• Working knowledge of design and prototyping tools and software, including proficiency in applications such as Adobe Design Suite, Sketch, InVision, Zeplin, Adobe XD, and Axure .
• Ability to quickly create mock-ups and high-fidelity prototypes, facilitating effective communication of design ideas to stakeholders.
• A keen eye and passion for visual design principles, ensuring that the user interface is aesthetically pleasing, intuitive, and aligned with best design practices.
• Strong online portfolio showcasing previous work, providing evidence of expertise in UX design, prototyping, and visual design principles.
• Demonstrates indicators of creative thinking through various outlets such as write-ups, thesis, blogs, or other creative sources, contributing innovative perspectives to design processes.
Behavioural Skills
• Great verbal and written communication skills in both English and local languages.
• Possesses strong storytelling skills, enabling the successful articulation of design concepts to the team and stakeholders.
• Keen attention to detail and a willingness to apply a hands-on approach to tasks, ensuring precision and thoroughness in design work.
• Proven experience as a team player, showcasing the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, especially while applying user-centred design processes.
• Eagerness to learn and stay up-to-date with new developments, including tools, technologies, and trends in the design space, showcasing a commitment to continuous improvement.
Ability to work within constraints and adapt to changing circumstances, highlighting flexibility and resilience in the face of challenges.
