Role Description The DQA Dedicated Quality Assurance Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Jodhpur. This position is responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes across the production line, ensuring that furniture and interior accessories meet defined standards and customer specifications. Daily activities include conducting inspections at various stages of manufacturing, verifying materials and finishes, documenting quality findings, and coordinating corrective actions with production and design teams. The role involves implementing and maintaining quality management procedures, supporting internal quality audits, analyzing defects and process gaps, and preparing regular reports for management. The officer collaborates closely with operations, export, and logistics teams to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with relevant guidelines and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills to monitor products and processes and ensure adherence to standards.
- Candidates should possess Quality Management and Quality Auditing skills to implement systems, conduct audits, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify root causes of quality issues, and recommend effective preventive measures.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing, furniture, or related industries is beneficial, with familiarity in production workflows and material standards.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, and quality documentation, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and provide clear feedback on quality requirements.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple inspections, reports, and follow-ups effectively.
- A diploma or degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Industrial Production, or a related field is preferred.
