Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive .NET Developer with 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC architecture, Web API development, and SQL Server.
Candidates with exposure to the travel domain will have an added advantage. This role requires the ability to adapt to travel software processes, interact with clients, and take end-to-end ownership of development and support activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC architecture
* Design and implement RESTful APIs using .NET Web API
* Work extensively with SQL Server for database design, query optimization, and stored procedures
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Product, Clients) to define and deliver new features
* Participate in requirement analysis and provide technical inputs/feasibility assessments
* Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications to improve performance and usability
* Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and responsiveness
* Follow coding standards, best practices, and maintain proper technical documentation
* Engage in client-facing activities such as requirement discussions, demos, and issue resolution
* Take end-to-end ownership of modules/projects, including development, deployment, and production support
* Adapt to and work on travel domain applications (booking engines, APIs, integrations) where required
Required Skills & Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in .NET development
* Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework / .NET Core
* Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC
* Experience in building and consuming Web APIs
* Strong knowledge of SQL Server (queries, joins, indexing, stored procedures)
* Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
* Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN)
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Good communication skills with the ability to interact with clients
* Ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in the travel domain (e.g., booking systems, third-party API integrations)
* Experience with Entity Framework / Dapper
* Exposure to Azure or cloud-based services
* Knowledge of application performance optimization and security best practices
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
