About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using both modern and legacy Microsoft technologies. This role involves working on scalable web solutions leveraging .NET 8, ASP.NET Core MVC, and Azure cloud services, as well as supporting and improving existing applications built on the .NET Framework. The successful candidate will play a vital role in designing, coding, testing, and deploying high-quality software solutions that meet our clients’ needs and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software development, specifically with Microsoft technologies.
- Proficiency in .NET 8, C#, and ASP.NET Core MVC.
- Experience working with ASP.NET Web Forms and .NET Framework 4.8.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, Entity Framework, and EF Core.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services including App Services, Functions, Key Vault, Azure Storage, and Application Insights.
- Understanding of OWASP security principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools, particularly GitHub Copilot, is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure web applications using .NET 8, ASP.NET Core MVC, and related technologies.
- Enhance and support existing applications built on the .NET Framework, ensuring stability and performance.
- Implement best practices for security, performance, and maintainability in all development tasks, adhering to OWASP principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, project managers, and QA testers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Develop and maintain database schemas, queries, and stored procedures in SQL Server.
- Leverage Azure cloud services to deploy, monitor, and optimize applications.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes and improve development efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate innovative technologies such as AI-assisted development tools into the workflow.
- Contribute to documentation and technical specifications to facilitate ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.
