Key Responsibilities
- Application Development: Design and develop secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices using C#, .NET 6/7/8, and ASP.NET Core.
- Azure Cloud Engineering: Implement cloud-native solutions utilizing Azure Functions, App Services, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Storage Accounts.
- Database Management: Create optimized, well-structured database schemas and queries in MS SQL Server/PostgreSQL, utilizing Entity Framework Core for data access.
- Cloud Architecture: Architect and modernize existing legacy applications into cloud-native microservices, optimizing for speed and scalability.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines) and containerization using Docker/Kubernetes (AKS).
- Security & Compliance: Implement authentication and authorization using Azure AD/Entra ID, OAuth2, and securely manage secrets with Azure Key Vault.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and guide junior team members on technical best practices.
- Monitoring & Optimization: Utilize Application Insights and Azure Monitor to troubleshoot issues and optimize application performance.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience in the .NET ecosystem.
- Backend: Extensive expertise in C#, .NET Core/6+, ASP.NET Web API.
- Azure Services: Hands-on experience with Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Key Vault, and Service Bus.
- Database: Proficient in T-SQL, relational database design, and ORM tools (Entity Framework/EF Core).
- DevOps: Solid experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Modern Architecture: Experience with Microservices, RESTful API design, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Frontend (Optional/Preferred): Familiarity with Angular, React, or Blazor.
- Methodology: Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
