Role Description
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer II to design, build, and lead development of scalable enterprise applications. This role involves end-to-end ownership of software delivery, architectural decision-making, and mentoring teams while ensuring high-quality, performant solutions aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Development
- Own and execute all phases of the SDLC (design, development, testing, deployment, support)
- Develop high-quality, scalable applications using C# and .NET
- Build and maintain REST/SOAP web services and microservices
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, testing practices, and quality benchmarks
Architecture & Design
- Apply object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD), including use case modeling and schema design
- Contribute to system architecture, scalability, and performance optimization
- Create high-level designs, technical specifications, and system documentation
Technical Leadership
- Lead development efforts across small to large-scale projects
- Collaborate with project managers on planning, estimation, and resource allocation
- Make key technical decisions aligned with product roadmap
- Identify risks/issues and drive resolution
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders
- Present technical solutions and conduct demos
- Provide regular updates on project progress
Mentorship & Team Growth
- Mentor and guide junior developers
- Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices
DevOps & Agile Execution
- Work in Agile/Scrum environments with CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to build, release, and deployment automation
- Support continuous integration and delivery processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of software development experience
- Strong expertise in C# / .NET
- Experience with Web Services (REST/SOAP)
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB and Microsoft SQL Server
- Strong SQL proficiency
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
- Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with DevOps tools: Git, Bitbucket, SVN, TFS, Jenkins, Maven, JUnit
- Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum) and CI/CD practices
- Experience with microservices architecture and performance tuning
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAFe Agile framework
- Exposure to Linux and Windows environments
- Familiarity with AWS
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot
