Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Dot Net Developer. The selected candidate will design, develop, and maintain .NET applications, ensuring quality and scalability. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and reusable code, debugging and resolving application issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals. The developer will also analyze user requirements, deploy updates, and integrate third-party APIs and services into existing solutions.
Languages:
- C# - server code
- Javascript - web client code, end-to-end tests
- HTML/CSS - UI
- T-SQL - MS SQL Server
Frameworks / Libraries:
- .NET Framework 4.6.2
- We want to upgrade from this old framework to the newer .NET 8 or 9.
- ASP.NET MVC Core
- Razor syntax for server-side UI rendering
- NHibernate
- Object Relational Mapper we use to interface with the database
- SimpleInjector
- Dependency Injection container for managing dependencies in the code
- AutoMapper
- Used to map between object types with similar property names without having to copy each property value over explicitly in the code
- SignalR
- Used to send live updates to the web client UI when events are triggered on the server side
- FluentMigrator
- Used to manage and run any migrations we need to apply to databases
- Webpack
- Used for bundling Javascript for client-side use
### Criteria's
Must haves:
- Need to be comfortable with all of the languages listed above
- Familiarity with the concepts of dependency injection and how it works in C# (specifically with SimpleInjector)
- Familiarity with the concept of "MVC" architecture
