The biggest highlight of my internship was getting to go to the SF headquarters to launch the team's product. Getting to meet all my team members in person and help launch a product made my work feel important, and showed me how lucky I was to be learning from people like my team members.
From day one, my mentor was extremely welcoming, friendly, and made sure I truly felt like part of the team. My mentor was also just a great person to talk generally, and I feel as though the relationships I developed at DoorDash now live both within and outside of the scope of work.

One of the biggest takeaways of my internship at DoorDash was the significant impact my code could have. I had the chance to actively participate in the end-to-end project lifecycle, gaining valuable insights into a feature‚ design, planning, execution, testing, and maintenance.
What I really enjoyed about DoorDash is the transparency. Through company-wide all hands events, it was fascinating to learn about the work of other teams. There was a lot of new information I had to learn throughout my internship however, everyone I worked with was super supportive and willing to help out and I still maintain strong relationships with them to this day.
