About the role

This position supports the pricing and finance team with analysis, customer profitability / cost-to-serve and commercial performance as well as price maintenance, reporting, budgeting, and other data driven insights. This position is designed for a recent graduate who is eager to learn and grow within a fast-moving manufacturing and distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain customer price files.
  • Perform micro level item profitability analysis and macro level analysis to optimize customer and business profitability.
  • Perform impact analysis on pricing and tariff changes.
  • Retrieve and organize data from multiple systems.
  • Assist with costing and margin analysis.
  • Support forecasting and budgeting activities.
  • Maintain weekly and monthly and internal financial metrics reports and analysis.
  • Perform variance analysis on revenue, expenses, and operational trends.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Proficient in Excel data analysis tools.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and the Microsoft suite.
  • Experience / exposure to database or data warehouse technology.
  • Experience / exposure to business intelligence data base tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Business Objects, Qlik Sense, etc.
  • Comfort working with data and building models.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Aptitude for critical thinking.
  • Clear communication and willingness to learn.
