DKMS Foundation India is a non-profit organization committed to fighting blood cancer and other blood disorders like Thalassemia and Aplastic Anemia. Our aim is to improve the situation of patients suffering from blood cancer and other blood disorders in India and throughout the world, by raising awareness about blood stem cell transplantation and registering potential blood stem cell donors. By doing this, DKMS Foundation provides patients in need of a blood stem cell transplant with a second chance at life. DKMS Foundation is a joint venture of two reputed non-profit organisations.
Role Description
This is a 1-year contractual job. The Donor Outreach Specialist will be responsible for contacting offline-registered donors to confirm their availability, clarify registration intent, and ensure accurate donor status updates in the system. The role supports improving donor availability rates and data quality.
Qualifications
- Conduct outbound calls to offline-registered donors to verify interest and availability.
- Engage with donors to reconfirm their willingness to participate and availability.
- Communicate the defined process clearly and professionally, addressing donor queries with empathy and accuracy.
- Record and update donor responses promptly and accurately in the designated systems.
- Maintain comprehensive daily call logs, response trackers, and follow-up status reports.
- Escalate sensitive, complex, or exceptional donor concerns to the Project Manager or relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Ensure strict adherence to data privacy standards, confidentiality requirements, and approved communication guidelines
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with proficiency in Kannada,Tamil, and Hindi to enable effective donor interactions.
Strong telecalling capabilities, including a clear and confident speaking voice, active listeningskills, and a high level of empath
