Transport Coordinator 

The Transport Coordinator is responsible for the transportation of donors and/or transport of donor serology and lab samples. Additionally, this role will be required to complete vehicle inspection, maintenance, and general upkeep, and comply with all documentation policies. 

  • Ensure timely and safe transportation of donors between Donor Alliance recovery center and offsite locations 

  • Manage and inspect vehicles for appropriate equipment necessary for safe transportation of donors 

  • Provide strong level of relationship management with external partners, including providing education around donation process and process opportunities 

  • Complete check-in and check-out process with recovery staff of each donor

Qualifications Skills 

  • Previous experience working in a driving capacity for mortuary transport or coroner’s office preferred 

  • Customer-service focus and relationship building, a must 

  • Previous experience working with decedents and transport cots, preferred
