Role Overview
Leela Partner Limited is seeking an experienced Team Leader – AFR India Business to lead and grow its Alternative Fuel & Raw Material (AFR) business across India. The role involves managing a sales and operations team, driving business development, achieving revenue targets, and owning the P&L of the assigned business segment.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team to achieve business and operational goals
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training and skill development
- Build a high-performing, motivated, and result-oriented team
Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the AFR segment
- Manage key customer relationships and strategic accounts
- Expand market presence and strengthen partnerships across India
Sales & Revenue Management
- Prepare sales projections, budgets, and annual operating plans
- Drive sales execution to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when required
P&L Ownership
- Own and manage Profit & Loss for the AFR India business
- Ensure cost optimization, margin improvement, and profitability
Training & Capability Building
- Provide technical and commercial training to the team
- Ensure team awareness of market trends, product knowledge, and compliance requirements
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare MIS reports, forecasts, and business performance dashboards
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as operations, logistics, finance, and compliance teams
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Proven experience in business development and sales management
- Sound understanding of AFR, cement, chemical, or industrial sectors
- Strong financial acumen with P&L management experience
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in AFR, cement, chemical, or allied industries
- Experience in handling Senior level business operations
- Willingness to travel as required
