Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced SSC Certified Trainer to deliver high-quality training for Solar PV Installer and Solar PV Helper job roles under various CSR and Government Skill Development Programs. The trainer will be responsible for conducting classroom and practical sessions, ensuring compliance with SSC guidelines, maintaining training documentation, and preparing candidates for assessments, certification, and employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver theory and practical training as per the approved Qualification Pack (QP) and National Occupational Standards (NOS).
- Prepare and execute session plans, lesson plans, and training schedules.
- Conduct hands-on practical demonstrations on solar PV installation, operation, maintenance, and safety.
- Ensure availability and proper utilization of tools, equipment, and training aids.
- Maintain attendance, assessment records, trainee progress reports, and all training documentation.
- Conduct internal assessments, mock tests, and practical evaluations before SSC assessments.
- Prepare trainees for Sector Skill Council (SSC) assessments and certification.
- Follow all guidelines issued by the concerned SSC, NSDC, MSDE, CSR partners, and Government departments.
- Ensure proper discipline, safety practices, and housekeeping in the training center.
- Support mobilisation, counselling, placement, and post-placement activities whenever required.
- Coordinate with project teams, assessors, and training center management for smooth execution of programs.
- Submit timely reports and MIS as per project requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- ITI / Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline.
- Valid SSC Trainer Certification for Solar PV Installer and/or Solar PV Helper job role.
- Certified under the relevant Sector Skill Council (preferably Green Jobs Sector Skill Council).
- Training of Trainers (ToT) certification will be preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant industry and/or training experience in Solar PV systems.
- Experience in delivering training under CSR, NSDC, PMKVY, PM Surya Ghar, PM Vishwakarma, or other Government Skill Development Projects will be preferred.
- Experience in practical installation and maintenance of Solar PV systems is desirable.
Skills Required:
- Strong technical knowledge of Solar PV systems.
- Excellent classroom and practical training skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of SSC assessment procedures and documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage trainees and maintain training records.
- Strong interpersonal and reporting skills.

- Timely completion of training batches.
- High trainee attendance and retention.
- SSC assessment pass percentage.
- Certification and placement performance.
- Quality of training documentation and compliance.
- Trainee satisfaction and feedback.
