We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Compliance & Information Security (CIS) team. This role will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining security products and tools that support the DocuSign compliance and information security programs. You will work closely with engineers, compliance, and information security professionals to build robust solutions that help protect DocuSign and our customers. What You'll Do: * Design, build, and maintain security tooling and applications that support DocuSign's compliance and information security programs * Collaborate with compliance, information security, and engineering teams to understand and address their needs * Automate security and compliance processes to improve efficiency and scalability * Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend components to support security solutions * Implement secure coding practices and advocate for security best practices across the organization * Participate in incident response and investigation efforts as needed What You Bring: * 3+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on security or compliance tools * Strong programming skills in one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, Go, or Node.js * Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, APIs, and microservices architectures * Understanding of security concepts, risk management, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, SOC 2) * Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, vulnerability scanners, identity management) * Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Bonus: * Experience with security automation, orchestration, or incident response * Familiarity with DocuSign products and services * Exposure to regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, government)
