Job Title - Document Controller
Location - Bangalore
Job Responsibilities
- Handling multiple project documents, preparing transmittals, receiving Client documentation and distributing internally on time.
- Track documents on a project using a documentation system and generate reports on overdue documents and status of documents on the project.
- Develop templates and standard guidelines to be used as a reference in overall formatting of document.
- Being a focal point on the Project documentation/ Support / issues for the entire team.
- Establish and maintain document control procedures and processes, including document numbering, revision control, and storage.
- Manage the distribution of documents to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that documents are delivered on time and to the correct recipient.
- Ensure that documents are properly reviewed and approved, and that all changes are properly recorded and communicated.
- Archive and store electronic documents in accordance with company policies and procedure.
- Ensure that documents are easily accessible and searchable, using document management software or other tools.
- Maintain a Master Document Register (MDR) consisting of drawings, specifications, procedures and plans.
- Review and verifies project documents for completeness, format, and compliance with contract requirements.
- Should have good coordination & communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Technical trade or University Graduate.
- Certifications in Aconex/SharePoint/BIM360 added benefit.
Skills:
- Good knowledge of Project Document Management.
- Good knowledge of MS Teams.
- Knowledge of Aconex preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Good secretarial skills and organizational abilities
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Previous experience of Middle East/GCC projects will be beneficial.
- Candidates with previous experience in AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) industry will be given preference.
