Role Description
Doctoral Student (Ph.D) at IIT Guwahati. Topic: Numerical modeling, fabrication and characterization of perovskite solar cells. The role involves conducting research, attending seminars, collaborating with faculty and peers, publishing papers, and working on dissertation requirements. Importantly, there will be a possibility to work with our collaborators in Japan, Germany, Frace, Italy, etc.. Former students have got opportunities to work abroad.
Qualifications
- Applicant must fulfill the admission criteria defined by the institute https://iitg.ac.in/acad/admission/doctoral/eligibility.php/#phd
- Master's degree in Physics/Engineering/Chemistry (Msc + GATE/NET/CEED or M.Tech./MS(R)). No need to have GATE qualification for the applicants with M.Tech. and MS(R) qualification.
- Experience in programming language/MATLAB/numerical modeling is desired (but, not compulsory)
- Fellowships acquired from CSIR/DST/UGC/other bodies are a plus point but not mandatory
