The Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R& D Institute of Science and Technology is always focusing and tackling problems from all spheres, addressing major social challenges and specialist areas of interest especially in the thrust areas and the Research Wing is one of the strongholds of this institution. The Research Centre of Vel Tech is a separate entity of Vel Tech, which has started functioning from 2009. The Dean - Research Studies is overseeing, co-ordinating and controlling the research activities conducted according to ethics and etiquette. The research programmes are offered in the areas of Engineering, Technology, Science and Humanities, Management and Law leading to the award of Ph.D. The admission to the research programmes is made twice a year. All the processes involving submission of applications, admissions, payment of fee, submission of reports etc., are done through online mode.
