About the role
We are building a network of Sugar360 partner clinics with doctors who already treat diabetes every day in their towns. The doctor leads the care. We bring the team, the care system, the app, and the brand. You will be our eyes and ears in every new market and often the first handshake a doctor has with Sugar 360. You will learn what is really happening in a city, sit down with the right doctors, and take the conversation to a point where our leadership team can carry it forward.
Whom we want to reach
MD Medicine and DM Endocrinology doctors who actively practise diabetology, see a lot of diabetes patients, and have their own practice or want one.
What you will do
- Map target cities: MD Medicine and DM Endocrinology doctors, their diabetes patient load, existing diabetes clinics, rents, labs, and chemists
- Build a ranked list of doctors worth approaching and classify them as hot, warm, cold, or not a fit
- Meet doctors in person and run the first conversation using our doctor kit
- Handle first-level objections and agree a clear next step with every doctor
- Call back doctor enquiries from our campaigns within 24 hours
- Log all activity in Zoho CRM daily and send a weekly report every Saturday
- Present a city readout with a clear recommendation: go, wait, or drop
- Represent Sugar360 with local IMA and RSSDI chapters and at doctor events and CMEs
Must have
- 3+ years in healthcare or pharma sales and marketing (medical rep, area or regional manager, healthcare franchise sales, diagnostic or hospital business development)
- Prior field-based marketing experience
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business management, B.Pharm, or another healthcare-related degree
- Regular interaction with MD Medicine and DM Endocrinology doctors, ideally in diabetes, cardio-diabetic, or endocrine segments
- Good, genuine relationships with doctors and the ability to maintain them
- Contacts in East or Northeast India
- Willingness to travel a lot, often at short notice
- Fluency in Hindi and English. Bengali, Assamese, or Odia is a strong plus
- Discipline with data and reporting
It helps if you have
