Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Doctor role based at apex multispeciality hospital’s Morbi location. The Doctor will provide comprehensive clinical care, including patient consultations, physical examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up. Day-to-day responsibilities include prescribing appropriate medications and therapies, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, maintaining accurate and timely medical records, and coordinating care with nursing staff and other specialists. The role also involves educating patients and families on treatment options and preventive care, participating in clinical meetings, and adhering to hospital protocols, medical ethics, and regulatory standards. The Doctor is expected to contribute to quality improvement initiatives and support a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for patients and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Relevant medical degree from a recognized institution and valid medical registration/license to practice.
- Clinical experience in hospital or multispeciality settings, with strong skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Proficiency in maintaining medical documentation, using hospital information systems, and following evidence-based clinical guidelines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and interact respectfully with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to ethical medical practice, continuous professional development, and adherence to infection control and patient safety standards.
- Ability to manage time effectively, handle high patient volumes, and remain calm and decisive in emergency or critical care situations.
- Preferred: Experience in relevant specialties, familiarity with local healthcare regulations, and fluency in regional languages in addition to English.
