Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Doctor role based at AIG Hospitals in Hyderabad. The Doctor will provide comprehensive clinical care, including patient consultations, diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing management of both inpatient and outpatient cases. Daily responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, ordering and interpreting investigations, performing or assisting in procedures where applicable, and documenting care in accordance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, participation in clinical discussions, and adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols. The Doctor is also expected to contribute to clinical education, quality improvement initiatives, and, where relevant, research or academic activities within the hospital.
Qualifications
- Relevant medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution and completed residency/postgraduate qualification (MD/MS/DNB or equivalent) in the applicable specialty.
- Valid medical registration/license with the appropriate medical council and eligibility to practice in India.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of complex medical and surgical cases, preferably in a tertiary or super specialty hospital.
- Strong patient-centered communication skills, including ability to explain conditions and treatment options clearly, and provide compassionate, ethical care.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, collaborate with specialists, and participate in coordinated care pathways.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records, adhering to hospital protocols, and following evidence-based clinical guidelines.
- Commitment to continuous professional development, openness to new technologies and practices, and engagement in training or academic activities.
- Experience or interest in gastroenterology, hepatology, transplant medicine, or related specialties is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in a high-acuity environment, participate in rotational duties, and respond to emergency and on-call responsibilities as required.
